Chris Wayfarer – Morning Dew
Morning Dew: A silver lining on the horizon heralds the early morning hour. Just before sunrise, the dawn bathes the realms in an orange, almost pink light. Dew glitters a thousand times over the fresh green of the spring, holding up a picturesque mirror to the scenery. Only a gust of wind and the magic of the moment would be gone.
And so the deep house track by Chris Wayfarer begin cautiously at first. Rhodes, chords, strings and percussion lie over a filtered kick drum. The sun slowly pushes itself as a crescent over the horizon and the theme of the track unfolds gently with the chords, complemented by rhodes, whose melody reaches out towards the daylight. Very soon, the warming central star reveals itself in full size. Pads, synth arpeggios and the bell-like sounds in break remind us of the transience of the moment. The last drops of water disappear and a new day begins.
